Warning Beacon WF 300

General Data

The PINTSCH BAMAG warning beacon WF 300 is designed as an omnidirectional beacon and is used as a harbour or breakwater beacon, thus serving as a maritime aid to navigation. The housing of the warning beacon is weatherproof and consists of a seawater-resistant light-alloy casting with two pressed-glass drum lenses with an approx. 300 mm inside diameter, one positioned over the other. The housing is of protection class IP 55. Located in the foot of the housing as well as in the cover are air passages covered by wire cloth, which enable flawless air circulation. The cable entry point is located on the side at the connecting box.

Technical Data

Two adjustable lamp holders E27 or P28s are fitted in the housing. In the case of the P28s version it is possible, after a knurled screw has been unscrewed, to tilt the upper lamp holder downwards for lamp fitting or replacement. Two halogen lamps 230V/150 or 200W with clear-glass bulbs and base E 27 or alternatively 230V/650 or 1,000W with clear-glass bulbs and base P28s, serve as the light source. One lamp serves as the main lamp, the other as a reserve lamp. For lamp replacement, the upper part of the beacon is opened after the captive knurled screws have been unscrewed. For attachment of the beacon, 3 bore holes of īC 14mm on a pitch-circle diameter of īC 300mm are located on the base. The housing of the hazard-warning beacon is painted traffic grey (RAL 7042).
