- Multiple use: warning system in accordance with DIN, command system and information banners
- Banners can be replaced and also rear-illuminated
- Optimized warning signal for urban and interurban operations without changeover
- 2 loudspeakers with wide-angle sound radiation, providing more safety for the occupants
- Flexible utilization profile of the command system
- Loudspeaker announcements using handset or microphone (optional)
- Radio insertion in command system (optional)
- Adjustment to all vehicle-roof curvatures
Use and Features
The TOP-2 emits signals for priority road users in accordance with DIN 14610 or ISO 7640 and has for this the General Design Certification M25017 of the Federal Office for Motor Traffic. For Austria, the TOP-2 received the type certification 719084, and in Switzerland the type certification CH 2083 applies.
The acoustic warning signal of the TOP-2 is suited to urban and interurban operations without changeover - the result of the optimization of the tone structure and the housing. The wide-angle effect of the sound radiation provides more safety for the emergency personnel.
In the "command system" application, loudspeaker announcements can be made using either the microphone (parallel use of the radio handset is possible) or the handset (with the operating unit connected upstream). If required, incoming radio messages can be broadcast directly via the loudspeakers (option), facilitating communication in case of emergency.
Applications
The TOP-2 is available in two variants for use in two different applications:
- Loudspeaker announcements via microphone.
For this a hand-held microphone, a microphone connector box and a plug-in connector are required (see list of accessories). Incoming radio traffic can be applied to the loudspeakers using the NF radio injector (option). With the test button (option), the functioning of the warning signal with reduced volume can be tested. This variant allows the parallel use of the radio handset.
- Loudspeaker announcements via radio handset.
For this an operating unit is required (option), in which the warning-signal function testing and radio injection (incoming radio traffic into loudspeakers) are already integrated.
In addition, an alarm switch ZBW (for police and emergency medical services) or AFW (for fire brigades) is required.
