The PINTSCH BAMAG signal lanterns S 145 are used as signal lanterns in shipping signal installations at locks, bridges, and narrow passages, or for directing traffic. The signal lanterns are deliverable with various dispersing lenses and colour filters (red, green or amber).
As standard, the lanterns are fitted with 12V/55W signal lamps SIG 1255. As an option, 12V/30-30W double filament lamps can be fitted. The aluminium housing is used for external attachment and for incorporation of the optical unit as well as a telescope for adjustment.
Technical Data
The signalling lantern S 145 consists essentially of 2 components - the housing and the optical system. The optical system is composed of 2 main sub-assemblies - the aspherical īC 136mm lens and the holder sub-assembly. At the factory, the optical system is adjusted so that the optical axis runs parallel to the axis of the telescope support. If a 12V/55W signal lamp SIG 1255 is fitted, an iso-candela curve, as shown below, is obtained. Colouration can be achieved by means of a colour filter that is fitted, together with a scattering lens if required, between the protective cover and the lens.
