Offering the highest possible travel quality to passengers is the pretension of modern railway carriages. An important prerequisite for this is a high-performance power supply.

The key component of our power supply systems is the high-voltage converter. All PINTSCH BAMAG high-voltage converters have galvanic isolation and generate a stabilized intermediate circuit voltage from which all subsequent utilization voltages are derived. For security reasons the three-phase and A.C. systems are constructed with earthing.

Other convincing features are, for example, the low unloaden weight, air convection cooling, IGBT switching technology, PFC control and the diagnostic interface via MVB, CAN bus, DIN vehicle bus and RS 485.
