K-SM 30

Use

The signal generator K-SGU 32 generates the special signal prescribed in the Federal Republic of Germany according to DIN 14610. For this it has, in combination with two active loudspeakers K-SRA 30, the General Design Certification M 25019. On request, we will supply information about similar certifications for other countries. Worldwide and for the most diverse application areas the standard special signals as well as signals desired by the customer are programmable: flexibility without expensive hardware changes.

Features

The pressure chamber system and the 30W amplifier of the active loudspeaker K-SRA 30 are accommodated in a robust, waterproof plastic housing, which impresses by its small size: 123 x 120mm (DxW). Owing to the active loudspeaker concept, no additional storage space for power amplifiers is required in the vehicle.

Up to 10 active loudspeakers are cascadable and are activated via a signal generator. This allows sound pressures of 117dB(A) to 137dB(A) at a distance of 1m to be achieved, while in practice the sound pressure of 123dB(A) at a distance of 1m is achieved with two K-SRA 30s and thus DIN 14610 is fulfilled.
The active loudspeaker is available in 12V DC and 24V DC versions. The housing is deliverable in black and in white.

Voice Announcements

With a suitable microphone the K-SM 30 can also be used as a command system for voice announcements. If it is used as a plain command system (without special signal), the signal generator K-SGU 32 can be omitted.
