The module ARM is used for switching and indication functions in interlockings and level crossings. The main application is to provide train approach indications to interlockings for timely switch-on of main signal monitored level crossings.

The power supply unit ensures that the level crossing system remains in operation both under normal conditions, and also in case of power failure by using battery standby for a certain period of time.

The remote monitoring group is used in all types of interlockings (apart from electronic interlocking) for the realisation of the remote monitoring interface to level crossing protection systems.

The auxiliary relay groups H2 and H3 are used in interlockings and level crossings for auxiliary circuits. The group H2 can be part of the realisation of the supervisory system EF180 applications in level crossings, for example.

Signals are essential for smooth and safe railway operation. Based on a white LED-signal lamp which is used in trackside signals and approved in German, signal lamps with the colours red, yellow, green and blue were developed for the international railway signalling market.

Beside push buttons and indicators level crossing control panels also contain counters, decommission switchers or loudspeakers for intercommunication systems. In general the control panels serve the dispatcher in the interlocking for the operation and supervision of level crossings of the supervision types main signal control, remote control, manual control or of ‘on demand by call’ barriers.

The purpose of the fibre-optic auxiliary signal indicators EZA / HKR is to convey additional information to the train driver to supplement that provided by the signals.

The relay modules RM2A and RM4A are used for the realization of auxiliary circuits in safety-related applications. Both modules contain relays with forcibly guided contacts and contacts which are restricted forcibly guided.
