PINTSCH BAMAG delivers both complete oil-fired heating systems for rail vehicles and individual oil burners. Through the self-contained design, all parts of the aggregate are protected from external influences. Maintenance work can be carried out without special tools - all component parts of the oil burner and heating boiler can be accessed easily.

The oil burner with a heating boiler and a control unit, a system that has been tried and tested a thousand times in Europe, has been specially developed for use in the underfloor area of railcars, locomotives and passenger carriages. The oil burner and heating boiler form a unit for generation of the hot water in hot water heating systems. Alongside the heating of the passenger space, this unit is also used to preheat the diesel engines.

Through constant development and use of state-of-the-art technologies and materials, exhaust gases are kept within the national and international limits. Thus the relevant railway technology licences are obtained without any difficulty.

The PINTSCH BAMAG oil burner testing station is used not only by our development and testing department. It is also used in apprenticeship and advanced training activities both on our premises and on those of our customers.
