The PINTSCH BAMAG marine lantern EE 155 NI is used for the lighting of buoys and navigation guides to mark waterways at night and in bad weather. The housing is made of polyurethane and forms with the coloured acrylic lens a weatherproof unit. The lantern is operated with 12V marine or halogen lamps. As standard, the lantern is equipped with a motor-driven 6-place lamp changer and the solid state flasher MCF 128II for the operation of max. 5A lamps. If a lamp fails, the lamp changer switches over automatically to the next lamp. The flasher is equipped with a voltage stabilizer and an integrated photo-electric switch. As an option, the lantern can also be delivered with an integrated wireless remote control for checking of the lantern in the daytime by means of a hand-held transmitter. Through a scattering insert set into the lens the vertical scattering angle can be enlarged. A version with a lamp changer and a solid state flasher for the operation of max. 10A lamps, a version with a connection to the Pintsch Bamag telemonitoring system CoDeSy, and a double filament version are also deliverable.
Technical Data
The electric marine lantern EE 155 NI consists of a housing made of polyurethane with a mass-tinted acrylic lens. For electrical connection the lantern is equipped with a plug-in connector. The housing is of protection class IP 65. The focal length of the lens is 155mm. The supply voltage is 12V DC. 12V marine lamps or halogen lamps with an average service life of 500 hours and 2,000 hours respectively serve as the light source. This results in a combined service life of more than 12,000 hours for operation with 6 halogen lamps. To change the lamps, the six locking screws under the hinged flange are unscrewed and the upper part tilted towards the rear.
