Die PINTSCH BAMAG obstacle light EE 155 H is used in the vicinity of airports to mark large buildings, towers or pylons at night or in bad weather. In luminous power, the obstruction lights comply with annex 14 of the ICAO regulations. The housing is made of polyurethane and forms with the red acrylic lens a weatherproof unit. The lantern can be operated with 12V or 24V halogen lamps. As standard, the lantern is equipped with an automatic 6-place lamp changer for max. 5A lamps. If a lamp fails, the lamp changer switches over automatically to the next lamp. As an option, the obstacle lights can be equipped with an electronic unit for character generation and synchronisation. An integrable photoelectric switch is also deliverable.
Technical Data
The obstacle light EE 155 H consists of a housing made of polyurethane with a mass-tinted red acrylic lens. For electrical connection the housing is equipped with a 3/4 cable screwed gland. The housing is of protection class IP 65. The focal length of the lens is 155mm. 12V or 24V halogen lamps with an average service life of more than 2,000 hours serve as the light source. This results in a combined service life of more than 12,000 hours for operation with 6 halogen lamps. To change the lamps, the six locking screws under the hinged flange are unscrewed and the upper part tilted towards the rear.
