Since 1935, PINTSCH BAMAG has developed and produced brakes for use worldwide in shipbuilding, wharf crane installations and industrial applications. PINTSCH BAMAG drive technology meets the safety requirements of all countries worldwide. This is proven by the product licences of all relevant classification societies.
For many years the brakes of the series SFB, which are designed to be seawaterproof, have been used successfully on winch motors in shipbuilding and as safety, service or holding brakes in wharf crane installations.
The safety brakes and service brakes of the KFB series, which were newly developed several years ago, are chiefly used on internally and externally cooled motors of travelling, trolley and hoisting gear in crane installations.
The brakes of the MFB series are used primarily as safety or holding brakes in shipbuilding. In machine construction the MFB series is used where size, robustness and work capacity are of key importance.
The EFB series of protection class IP 54 is used primarily on the driven side of electric motors employed in textile machines, machine tools and conveyors, as well as in other fields of machine construction.
