These beacons of the type series KL are a special PINTSCH BAMAG product. The optical system consists of 3 aspherical condenser lenses, each with a 60mm diameter, whose horizontal axes are offset against one another by 120° and whose vertical axes can be tilted upwards or downwards for special applications.

A high-intensity low-volt halogen lamp at the common focal point of the lenses lets the light escape in three directions in highly concentrated beams that are separated from one another by complete darkness. This results in a considerable increase in the attention-catching power of these beacons. In this unique way, account is taken of the demands of an ever-increasing road traffic and also the demands of industry and other road users for clear marking of general peril points.
To allow for quick and easy bulb replacement, the lens holders are equipped with hinges for swing-away opening.
